Join us in helping set the standard for clean, green, and/or eco products through participation in the Wise List powered by MADE SAFETM program.
Fees for the Wise List powered by MADE SAFE include a screening fee and an annual licensing fee for products that achieve certification.
Screening Fees
All products submitted for Wise List review are subject to screening fees at a rate of $500 per product. Screenings for the Wise List are capped at 50 ingredients, and synthetic fragrance must be submitted separately as a distinct product.
Annual Licensing Fees
Annual licensing fees are applied to certified products and are a per-product flat fee.

Become a Wise List Supporter
Any company is welcome to participate as a supporter. Achieving certification is not required to become a Wise List Supporter. To join, sign this pledge and screen at least one product to receive a report on the opportunities for ingredient improvement. Conduct this screening annually to benchmark progress and measure improvement.

MADE SAFE Pricing
Products carrying the MADE SAFE® seal represent a company’s commitment to a healthy and sustainable marketplace and the assurance that no known or suspected toxic ingredients were used in production.
Fees for MADE SAFE include a screening fee and annual licensing fee for products that achieve certification.
Screening Fees
All products submitted for MADE SAFE review are subject to screening fees at a rate of $1000 per product. Screenings are capped at 35 ingredients, and synthetic fragrances must be submitted separately as a distinct product.
Additional fees apply to screenings that open new product categories.
