Announcing: MADE SAFE® Ingredient Integrity Product Award

Calling all healthy aging skin products! MADE SAFE® is announcing our first ever award for Ingredient Integrity highlighting sustainable beauty products for healthy aging skin in 2023. (Subsequent years will highlight a different product specialty.)

We hope you will share with your favorite brands making products for healthy aging skin and encourage them to submit a product! The submission deadline (entry form, payment, and sending samples) is September 15, 2023. Winner(s) will be announced online at madesafe.org in October 2023.

If you are a company with healthy aging skin products, here are the details for submission. 

The MADE SAFE Ingredient Integrity Award for Sustainable Beauty Products for Healthy Aging Skin will be judged by an award committee consisting of internal and external experts. This committee will be deeply familiar with reviewing ingredients and packaging to consider how they impact humans as well as the environment.

Each submission will be evaluated for overall ingredient integrity for the complete formulation as well as individual ingredient review for the following:

1. Known benefit(s) + performance
2. Environmental considerations or concerns
3. Ingredient sourcing and sustainability
4. Ingredients at risk of contamination with problematic impurities 
5. Sustainable packaging

Products will be judged individually on ingredient integrity.

Ingredient integrity is what MADE SAFE is all about. In order to change products for a healthy and sustainable future every ingredient must be considered. How was it made? What purpose does it serve? A clean product is made from a clean supply chain with intention and careful selection. This commitment is all part of our philosophy of change that moves the marketplace to better, safer and healthier products.
