The Wise List powered by MADE SAFE is a certification designed to eliminate the most harmful chemicals from commerce for a safer and more sustainable world. Earning the Wise List powered by MADE SAFE Certification means a company is avoiding more than 15,000 harmful chemicals. By reducing the intentional use of harmful chemicals, we can drive reductions in use and lower demand for harmful chemicals around the world. This evaluation helps companies progress by learning if they are using substances of harm, provides documentation that enhances transparency, and offers benchmarks for ingredient and product improvements for internal and external stakeholders. Transformation Partners powered by MADE SAFE is a program designed to help companies as they transform products and ingredients for a safer and more sustainable marketplace. The Transformation Partners program provides in-depth, iterative, and interactive ingredient improvement reviews and guidance. Pregnancy Approved powered by MADE SAFE is a supplemental review option for companies that have already achieved MADE SAFE Certification. The Pregnancy Approved program requires an additional layer of review in order to confirm that products do not contain added ingredients that are known or suspected to be harmful to pregnant individuals or fetal development. The Pregnancy Approved program is not a certification program, but offers companies a review-backed use of specific marketing claims.
